It is rumoured that in times gone by the Costa Tropical was referred to as the “windy costa”, as there is often a good strong breeze blowing in across the Mediterranean from Morocco making the Costa Tropical the perfect location for windsurfing enthusiasts. Although still a relatively unknown coastline, the Costa Tropical is growing in popularity within the windsurfing community and nowadays many surfers and wave boarders riding the waves in La Herradura bay
There’s something for everyone, from absolute beginners to seasoned boarders. La Herradura bay offers you courses on all levels all year round. As well they have a centre for rentals of light sailing vessels, windsurfing boards and all accessories and equipment for both. The Andalucian coastline combines the greatest number of ideal conditions for enjoying this exhilarating sport.
