The school is affiliated to the prestigious Cervantes Institute, and has a team of highly experienced Spanish teachers. You can have one course from 1 week. The courses includes a choice of 3 to 6 lessons per day, and can be combined with various activities (sports).

The climate of the Costa Tropical ensures that virtually all year round you can enjoy temperatures around 20 degrees in winter to average 26 in summer.

La Herradura is not affected by mass tourism, and is located on a lovely area with a nice beach, many restaurants, tapas bars and shops. The area offers plenty of opportunities for beautiful hikes and bicycle rides through the beautiful (mountain) areas in the hinterland, such as the Alpujarras, Almijarras and the Axarquia. In the winter you can find both the coastal climate to enjoy, or a ski in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada at about 1 hours drive away!

Our Spanish language school is beautifully situated on the Costa Tropical, in the idyllic seaside town of La Herradura. The school is situated on the promenade, right on the beach. La Herradura is a typical Spanish town, located between the larger towns of Nerja and Almuñécar. Our small and familiar language school offers excellent language courses at every level, where we keep group sizes small (6-8 people maximum) so you are assured of personal attention and guidance.

We offer lessons for beginners and intermediates, and for all ages. For families we have courses available. A special program is our emigration course, where the whole family in every way is prepared for life in Spain. Naturally you get plenty of opportunities to get in touch with the friendly locals, during your stay, so the knowledge you get in class is put into practice. What to expect

The school was founded in 1996, we provide Spanish classes since January 1997. There are 4 comfortable classrooms, a library with study room, computers with free internet access, an office, toilets, a terrace (facing the beach) with benches where you can enjoy during breaks. This is also the venue for the excursions organized by the school. All rooms are equipped with heating and air conditioning, and the school is easily accessible for the disabled. It is located in a quiet part of the village about 5 minutes walk from the center.

Our teachers are graduates and specialized in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Their experience, kindness, motivation and confidence makes learning fun. The Spanish classes are given entirely in Spanish.

We use a communicative method of teaching, so with emphasis on conversation. Developing your oral and listening skills in a fun way very soon. We work mainly with case studies, with grammar and writing exercises as a baseline. Soon you'll find yourself to have the knowledge enough to use the language in practice. During the course, there is a focus on Spanish culture and history.
