Would you like to learn how to create mosaic?

The mosaic workshops take place in an art studio in the center of one of the beautiful whitewashed villages of Andalusia. In this white Andalusian village with its Moorish influences, you are transported back in time. The farmers still harvest the almonds, olives, grapes and raisins as their forefathers did before. This is a lively and welcoming town that has retained the old charm of Andalucia, where genuine hospitality towards its visitors can be felt.

During a week you will be taught how to use 3 different techniques in mosaic making both traditional and contemporary. Special attention will be given in teaching you the methods used by the ancient Roman and Byzantine craftsmen.

During the workshop you also will be giving some historical explanation, introduction and demonstration of the various phases of mosaic execution.
